The nervous system is one of the levels we can work on, switching from a sympathetic or Fight and Flight response to parasympathetic respond; Rest and Restore.
In yoga practice through the sequencing of tense and rest/release we actually train our body to be able to shift more easily from stress to being at ease in our every day life.
